Good Bye

Good Bye. Drawn in Rio de Janeiro by the beach as the sun was setting. Two older men, I assume a couple, holding each other for a long time. The hug felt almost too long. To an observer, it felt like a farewell. A bittersweet goodbye. I didn’t know them, but as the light faded and the mountains slowly disappeared, I felt beauty and sadness at the same time.
